Pelotonia is Reaching their Goal!

Cancer strikes one of every two American men and one of every three American women at some point in their lives. Frank Goode, President of Accent Information Systems, and I have formed "Team Accent", and we will be doing our part to help find a cure for cancer by joining Lance Armstrong and over 2000 others riding in Pelotonia on August 28th - 30th.

Pelotonia, a grass roots bike tour, has one goal: to end cancer. With 100% of every donation going to fund essential research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, we can't think of a better way to join in the fight against this disease.

Will you join us in this fight? Registration for volunteers for this event is now closed, but you can still help by making a pledge of $100, $50, $25, or even $10. No donation is too small! We hope you consider supporting our efforts and this great cause. On the link below, you will find our riders' profiles and a simple and secure way to make any size donation you wish.

Our heartfelt "thanks" go to our friends who have already made a pledge. With your help, we are one step closer to winning the battle against cancer!

Only 25 days to go!

Pelotonia is a grass roots effort to help The James Cancer Research Center by getting something *unheard of* in any charitable campaign I have ever seen.... 100% of all money raised goes directly to The James. http://www.pelotonia.org/ride/about_james.jsp

All of us have been touched in some way by this terrible disease. Even though there isn't a cure right now one day it will be eliminated.

This is an opportunity to help be a part of the campaign to join over 2,200 people bring a greater awareness to the excellent work being done at The James.

How can you help? By getting on a bike and joining the rest of us. Or if that is not your style, you could volunteer (any of the available days August 28 - 30, 2009) along the 100 mile route. Or if you prefer you could donate to our riders $100, $50, $25, or $10. Really, any amount is appreciated.

There are thousands that will be riding along with Lance as he visits Columbus again as he helps in the fight!
